Your Google Ads campaign structure decides how tidy your account is a month from now. Campaigns and ad groups with clear, consistent names are easier to read, easier to review and easier to fix. A jumble of one-off ones isn't.

This free Google Ads Campaign Structure Planner from LiveFixPro is made for local service businesses. Enter your services and your service areas, choose how to organize them, and get a campaign and ad group skeleton with consistent names and starter keyword ideas to review in your own account.

It runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored. It's a planning skeleton, not a prediction of results, and it doesn't create anything in your Google Ads account.

What the planner asks for

  • Services, one per line, up to eight. A line repeated with different capital letters counts once.

  • Service areas, one per line, up to six. Repeated lines count once here too.

  • How to organize. Pick one of three layouts:

    • One campaign per service, one ad group per area

    • One campaign per area, one ad group per service

    • One campaign per service, one ad group per service, with no area split

  • An emergency ad group for each service, if you want one. Tick the box to add it.

  • A name prefix, optional. It goes in front of every campaign name so your plan is easy to find.

What you get back

A structure skeleton table with three columns: campaign, ad group and starter keyword ideas. A summary line tells you how many campaigns and ad groups were planned from your list. If you entered more than eight services or six areas, it says the extra lines were left out so you can plan them in a second pass.

Keyword ideas use standard match-type notation: "phrase match" in quotes and [exact match] in brackets. They're starting points to review, not a finished list. Copy the skeleton as text, download it as a CSV or print it.

A small example

Say you enter two services, drain cleaning and water heater repair, and two areas, Northside and Southside, and choose one campaign per service with one ad group per area. You'd get a campaign for each service, and under each, an ad group for each area, such as "Drain cleaning - Northside" with the keyword ideas "drain cleaning northside" in phrase and exact match. The names above are made up.

Which layout to choose

There's no single answer. Many owners group by service, so each ad can match what people searched for, and then decide how to handle areas. The planner shows three ways to organize it so you can compare them before you build anything. If you serve a single area, the no-area-split layout is simpler.

Before you build anything

  • Check keywords against your own search term data. Starter ideas are a place to begin.

  • Add negative keywords before you launch. Our Negative Keyword Builder can help with that.

  • Read Google's location targeting help before you set areas in your account. The planner links to it.

  • Keep names consistent. A prefix and a simple pattern make a skeleton easy to read later.

What this tool is not

It's a planning aid. It doesn't create campaigns, connect to your account or predict results. Review everything in your own account before you use it.
